Macrame - £35 – Hand Sew - Materials supplied

In this workshop you can make either a small wallhanging or a bookmark. In the 70's we made plant hangers and (sometimes) those creepy owls! However this craft is making a comeback. Plant hangers are updated, and just as beautiful to us, as they were to those who knotted before. Owls now adorn ears and knots are being used to make intricate micro macrame mixed with beads. Macrame uses inexpensive materials and this amazing craft can be tackled by virtually anyone of any age. Once you learn a few basic knots, you can make an innumerable amount of things that are as beautiful as they are individual.
