Our crochet workshops

How things have changed! These days crochet is no longer something you associate with your gran. Now it’s very on trend to crochet, and granny blankets are quite ‘de rigueur’. You are NEVER too old (or too young) to start crocheting. I promise you’ll love mastering the skills, plus you’ll get so much satisfaction from being able to create beautiful, future family heirlooms.

Crochet is a passion of mine and I’ve really enjoyed teaching the many people who have come along to our beginners workshops so far. This workshop is a permanent fixture at All Stitched Up and it’s by far the most popular.

Once you’ve mastered how to do the traditional ‘Granny Square’ (much easier than you think), you can move on to the intermediate course, where you’ll learn how to join the squares together to make a simple bag or blanket. One of my proudest moment (I was genuinely emotional!) was when Margaret, a lady I’d taught to crochet, came back for a crochet flower course and she brought with her the most beautiful crocheted bag she’d made, fully lined and finished to a very high standard. I was just like a proud Mum!
